1 - Computer with internet access
2 - Multimedia Projector
3 - Membership to http://storybird.com/
4 - Word Processing program (example: Microsoft Word)
Getting Started
1 - Connect the computer to the internet and to the Multimedia Projector.
2 - Explain to the students about brainstorming ideas for a classroom story.
3 - Brainstorm ideas for: Characters, Plot, etc. (define each category for the students).
4 - Use the word processing program. Sample:
5 - Once you have the brainstorming ideas, sign into your http://storybird.com/account.
6 - After you have logged in, click: 3. Make a Storybird.
7 - Begin to create a story. Remember: Don't forget to collaborate with the students.
8 - Have the students select from the available art on the Storybird website.
9 - Create the story with your students. Click imagine to read the sample story.
